The top order of the Deccan Chargers team batted well today. There was no big innings from any player but all of them played their part well. However, the lower order needed to pull out some fast runs at the end which they were not able to do. Gilchrist and Afridi opened strike. The former was dismissed on 14 runs whereas Afridi started to settle down with Gibbs. It was this time that Mishra intervened and got these two batsmen off his ball.
