He also hit 11 sixes in the match today and out of 114, 102 runs that he made came from boundaries. Amazing figures he showed to the spectators and critics today. Dhoni, after the match gave the reason for this as the bowling of the team which was inappropriate.
The team of the Chennai Super Kings had set a target of 156 runs for the opponents. The highest scorer in the team was Badrinath followed by Dhoni who scored 43 runs off 35 balls. Kulkarni obtained 3 wickets in his spell of 4 overs. Bravi obtained two wickets. The attack of the bowling of the Mumbai team was enough to limit this team to 156 runs. Sanath Jayasuriya was awarded the man of the match for his superb innings.
