







The team of the Mumbai Indians, it seems are now getting their rightfulk share of publicity after the much hyped incidents and controversies. The team today registered their fourth win in a row and this time, the win was very massive against the Chennai Super Kings led by MS Dhoni. The team won with a margin of 9 wickets with 37 balls still left unbowled.
It was the decision of the Mumbai Indians who won the toss that they will field first. The Chennai Super Kings openers came to open the match and it was Vidyut and Fleming who took to this task. Vidyut scored 16 runs whereas Fleming could score 26 runs. Raina was dismissed with just 1 run on 6 deliveries. Badrinath however, along with MS Dhoni made some good runs. A good partnership developed and the team score went to a respectable position. Badrinath was caught and bowled by Bravo on 53 runs whereas Dhoni remained unbeaten on 43 runs off 35 balls. The team put up a total of 156 runs on the score board to be chased by the Mumbai Indians.
Chasing this target cannot be considered an easy task, considering the changes that come in the game within a few overs. However, the Mumbai Indians let no such change affect their stance today. Sachin and Jayasuriya opened the game for the team. Sachin was dismissed pretty early on 12 runs but the crowds which had come to see him were not disappointed as the innings by Sanath Jayasuriya was a remarkable one. He scored 114 runs off just 48 balls, out of which 102 were scored from boundaries. He hit 11 sixes in the match and wound up the game in just 13.5 overs. Undoubtedly, Sanath Jayasuriya was awarded the man of the match as he made the second fastest ton in the IPL today.
