The lower order also could not make a lot of runs and the score came to be just 147 runs in twenty overs.
The Chennai team who had made 211 in their last match saw the target as no big challenge for them. Patel and Fleming started the game. Fleming was dismissed early on 14 runs off 9 balls. Patel played 27 balls and made 20 runs. Raina made a half century coming at number three. Off 43 balls, he made 54 runs giving the team score a kick. Dhoni also contributed well with his 37 runs off 25 balls. Playing comfortably, the Chennai team got the victory with 4 balls remaining. Raina was awarded the man of the match.
