Das was the second highest scorer in the team with 27 runs and with some small contributions from Shukla and Saha, the team made the final score. Makhaya Ntini hauled 4 wickets out of which three were obtained as a hat-trick for him.

Fleming had scored 32 runs off 20 balls and Patel was there with 19 runs off 28 balls. Three runs made the difference for the Chennai Super Kings and got them this win in a great fashion
