







The Rajasthan Royals today recorded their tenth win in the IPL against the Chennai Super Kings which lost the match by 10 runs. The match saw high scores made by both the teams but in the end, it went the way of Rajasthan. Morkel was awarded the man of the match for his great performance with the bat which ultimately went in vain as his team lost the match and his two-wicket haul against the opponents.
The openers Smith and Asnodkar started the match with the Rajasthan team batting first according to their own will. The openers gave a kick start to the team and had a very good partnership of 127 runs. The first batsman to go was Asnodkar who scored 41 runs whereas Smith stayed on till he made 91 runs off 51 balls. Akmal too played a good cameo and made 53 runs off 28 balls. Middle or lower order failed to score much and the team still had made a high total of 211 runs which were in any way difficult to chase. Morkel obtained 2 wickets against the Rajasthan team.
The Chennai Super Kings lacked in one thing when compared to the Rajasthan. The opening was not like the opponents. Though Patel was dismissed after making 54 runs, it was Fleming who was dismissed early at just 7 runs. Raina however scored a considerable score of 45 runs. Further down, Morkel was the man again to have scored well and got the highest score in the team. He made 71 runs off 40 balls. The team finished however ten runs less than the opponents and lost the match. Sohail Tanvir obtained 3 wickets against the Chennai team in the four over spell.
